It is hard to believe that it will be 24 years next week! I have been married more than half my life and if I had to do it all over again, I'd do it exactly the same. (Okay, maybe I wouldn't have worn those dorky glasses back in the eighties, but EVERYBODY else had them too!)
I love you sweetie!
P.S. Notice the "dusty rose" ribbon in the background? There's a reason that the words, "dusty rose" are so funny to me. Back in college, a friend across the hall was infatuated with the color "dusty rose". Almost every day (and I'm not kidding, ask Lisa Pipkin) Darla would come home and say, "LOOK, what I found!" A "dusty rose" fill-in-the-blank ! One day it was a toothbrush, then a kleenex box holder, a robe, socks, pencil organizer, towels.... and on and on. To this day, none of us that lived in that short stretch of Wall Hall can hear the words "dusty rose" without a chuckle. So, wherever you are Darla, I hope the little things in life still bring you as much joy now, as they did back then.
